Why I like it: This is one of Coonawarra's great secrets. The V & A Lane [named to mark the splitting the electorates of Victoria & Albert in the 1800's] cuts through the middle of this famous region. Its elevation is a little higher than the rest of Coonawarra and thus the wines made from here are a little more aromatic. I love this blend. Co-fermented [where the shiraz and cabernet are mixed before fermentation happens], means the wine has great structure. Pull this one out and tell your friends about it.
